6 egg yolks
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup flour
pinch of salt
5 to 6 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cook over medium heat until it gets thick. Add 2 or 3 teaspoons of vanilla and a can of coconut. Pour into a baked pie shell.
Mix egg whites and beat on high until stiff, add 10 to 12 teaspoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla. and about 1/4 teaspoon of cream of tartar. Spread over pies and sprinkle 1 can of coconut on the top. Brown pies in oven until golden brown.
