Dry yeast
2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 cup oil
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbsp salt
4 cups hot water
6 cups bread flour (all purpose will work too)

Step 1 - Dissolve 2 Tbsp or 3 prgs. of dry yeast and 2 Tbsp sugar in 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Let rise.
Step 2 - Combine 1 cup oil, 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 Tbsp salt. Beat with electric mixer.
Step 3 - In a large mixing bowl combine 4 cups hot water and 12 cups bread flour. Add Step 2 ingredients and continue beating until well blended.
Step 4 - Stir in the yeast. Let mixture rest for 5 minutes. Gradually add 6 more cups flour, stirring after each cup. Mix in the final cup or two by hand. Knead until smooth. Cover with cloth and let rise until double in bulk.
Step 5 - Form into buns or caramel rolls. Let rise (about 1 1/2 to 2 hours). Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 15 minutes.
