1- cup shortening
1- cup sugar
1- cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
1- tsp vanilla
2- eggs (beaten)
1- cup peanut butter. (I use the one with nuts)
2- cups all purpose flour
2- tsp baking soda
1- tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
1- Cream shortening, sugars, and vanilla
2- Add beaten eggs, and beat thoroughly
3- Stir in Peanut Butter
4- Combine dry ingredients, and stir into the creamed
mixture.
5- Drop by small teaspoonsful onto ungreased cookie
sheet.
6- Press with floured fork to make crisscross design.
7- Bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes, or until lightly
browned.

To make the cookies crisp, flatten the cookie on the
