2 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 c walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the shortening and sugar. Add the eggs and then the mashed bananas and lemon juice. Add dry ingredients which have been sifted and stir only until flour is moistened. Bake in greased loaf pan at 350º for about 50-55 minutes.
