1 C. softened butter
1/2 C. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 C. sifted flower
1 package (5-/4 oz.) chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Confectioner's sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add sifted flour. Beat until well blended. Chill dough. Remove wrappers from kisses and place kiss in 1 Tablespoon dough -- roll into ball (hiding kiss) and bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes at 375, until set but not brown. Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.
