2 cups sifted four
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2/3 cups milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 cup shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk, stir until dough adheres to fork. Knead a few times and roll out to 1/2" thick. Bake 10-12 min. at 450 degrees.
