1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 quart buttermilk
4 cups Kellogs All-Bran
2 cups boiling water - pour over all the bran
5 cups flour
5 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups Nabisco 100% Bran

Directions:

Cream - Add dry. Mix well. Add dates, nuts, raisins if desired. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 min. Dough can be kept in refrigerator for 4 weeks.
