1 egg, slightly beaten
1 can (5 oz) evaporated milk
1 c quick-cooking oats
1/2 c finely chopped onion
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1-1/2 lbs ground beef

Sauce:
1 c ketchup
3/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c chopped onion
1/2 tsp liquid smoke, optional
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into 1-in balls; place in a greased 13x9 baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 18-20 minutes. Meanwhile, combine the sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour over meatballs. Bake 10-15 minutes.
