1 cake yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
2 1/2 c. flour
1tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/3 c. shorting
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg

Soften 1 cake yeast in 1/4 c. lukewarm water
Sift together about 21/2 c. flour and 1 tsp. salt
Scald 1c. milk and add 1/3 c. shortening,1/3 c. sugar, and 1 egg. Cool. Add 1/2 the flour to the milk mixture, then add yeast. Beating well, add the rest of the flour. Beat well again.

Let rise until very light. Spread in pan and cover with thick sour cream and top with plenty of sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350 until browned, about 15 to 20 mins. (approximately)
