6 Italian Sausage links, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 c. finely chopped onions
3 T. sugar
1 tsp. dried basil leaves
1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes, undrained
1 (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 (12 oz.) tomato paste
24 oz. uncooked whole wheat spaghetti

In 3 1/2 or 4 qt. slow cooker, combine all ingredients except spaghetti: mix well. Cover: cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours. About 30 minutes before serving, cook spaghetti to desired doneness as directed on the package. Drain. Serve sauce over spaghetti
