1 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. raw, chopped, pared apples
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. nutmeats

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar; add beaten egg; sift dry ingredieents together; add dry ingredients, fruit, and nuts; mix well; bake 45 minutes in greased pan (9x9) at 350.
