1/2 cup Shortening
1 1/4 cups Sugar
2 Eggs, beaten
3 Bananas, mashed
1 tsp Vanilla
2 cups Self-Rising Flour, sifted
1 cup Nuts

*if you use all purpose flour, add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until smooth. Sit in bananas, flour and nuts. Bake at 350 about 1 hour.
