1 cup of white rice (medium or long grain)
2 cups of water
1 tbsp of oil (vegetable or olive)
salt to taste (1/2 tsp aprox)

Mix the rice, water, salt, and oil in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce water for 3-5 minutes. Stir. Reduce heat and cover. Cook for about 20 more minutes until rice is tender.
