1 c quick cooking oats
1 1/4 c boiling water
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c oil
2 eggs
1 1/3 c flour
1/2 t salt
1 t soda
1 t cinnamon

TOPPING
6 T butter
1 c brown sugar
1/4 c milk
1 c coconut
1/2 c nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Stir together oatmeal and boiling water and let set for 20 min to cool. Mix sugar, oil and eggs. Add oatmeal mix and beat for 5 min. Sift together dry ingredients and add to batter. Mix well.
Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13 pan at 350º
for 35 min.
Mix topping ingredients and spread over cake while it is still hot. Bake additional 10-14 min at 350º until golden brown.
