1 lb ground beef
1 med onion, chopped
1 can (46 oz) tomato juice
1 can (28 oz) tomatoes
1 can (4.5 oz) mushrooms.
2 c frozen cut green beans
2 c each celery, cabbage, carrots (chopped)
2 t dried oregano
1 t basil
1/2 t garlic powder
1 t salt
1/2 t pepper.

In a dutch oven or soup kettle, cook the beef and onion over medium heat until meat is not longer pink, drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 2 hours.
