1 lb mild Italian sausage ( best loose not in casing)
1Chopped onion
18 oz. Cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
4 8 cloves of garlic unpeeled
1 c. whipping cream
1 c. Chicken broth
2 c. fresh Parmesan cheese ( Be generous ) ( Asiago ) ( reserve1 cup)
c. Fresh parsley
2t Basil
1 Pepper ( diced or sliced )
1c. Buttered bread crumbs

Directions:
Brown sausage with onions drain.
Cook tortellini according to directions add the unpeeled garlic cloves to the water.
When draining tortellini save garlic cloves (peel and crush them).
Combine crushed garlic and whipping cream beat with whisk.
Combine sausage, onions, tortellini, and chicken broth, 1 c. Parmesan cheese, c. parsley, basil and peppers. Stir well.
Pour in well sprayed 9 x 13 glass casserole dish. Sprinkle buttered bread crumbs and remaining parsley over tortellini.
Bake 325 for 40-50 minutes
Then top with cup Parmesan and heat until it melts.
Serve hot. Enjoy!
