1 lb mild Italian sausage ( best loose not in casing)
1Chopped onion
18 oz. Cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
4 – 8 cloves of garlic unpeeled
1 c. whipping cream
1 c. Chicken broth
2 c. fresh Parmesan cheese ( Be generous ) ( Asiago ) ( reserve1 cup)
½ c. Fresh parsley
2t Basil
1 Pepper ( diced or sliced )
1c. Buttered bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage with onions – drain.
Cook tortellini according to directions add the unpeeled garlic cloves to the water.
When draining tortellini save garlic cloves (peel and crush them).
Combine crushed garlic and whipping cream – beat with whisk.
Combine sausage, onions, tortellini, and chicken broth, 1 c. Parmesan cheese, ¼ c. parsley, basil and peppers. Stir well.
Pour in well sprayed 9 x 13 glass casserole dish. Sprinkle buttered bread crumbs and remaining parsley over tortellini.
Bake 325 for 40-50 minutes
Then top with ½ cup Parmesan and heat until it melts.
Serve hot. Enjoy!
