Directions:
Mix egg with bread crumbs and moisten with milk. Add beef, sausage and chopped onion. Season with salt, pepper and Lawry's seasoning salt. Mix all ingredients well. Shape into loaf and place in a flat baking pan. Bake at 350º until done. A 2-3 pound loaf bakes in about 1 1/2 hours.
* Other seasoning options include dry mustard, crushed garlic, sage, etc.

Personal Notes:
When mixing the ingredients for this recipe, you must use your hands to get the right consistency. I can't understand how the younger kids can get their hands into finger paints, mud, sand, etc. and yet are grossed out watching their moms make meatloaf!
