5 c peeled figs
6 T sugar
1 T cornstarch
juice of one lemon
6 T butter
Pastry for one pie. with lattice top.

Directions:
Directions:
Bake 450 30-40 min

Select figs that are ripe and firm. Place in pie shell and sprinkle with combined cornstarch and sugar. Dot with butter.
Sprinkle with lemon juice and I add several thin slices of lemon.
Place lattice crust on top. Bake until browned.
