1/2 c. pecans, chopped
2 T. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
2 T. milk
1 - 2 oz. pkg. chipped beef, chopped
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
pinch of pepper
1 T. butter
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 c. green pepper, diced
1/2 c. sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Toast nuts with butter and salt until browned. Set aside. Mix together cream cheese, milk, chipped beef, garlic salt and pepper. Saute onion and green pepper in butter. Add to chipped beef mixture. Fold in sour cream. Put in oven-proof casserole and arrange nuts on top. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Serve hot with crackers. Note: Triscuits or other sturdy crackers work best.
