1 lb. hamburger
chopped onion, if desired
2 pkg. Lawry's Spaghetti Sauce Mix
tomato sauce/tomato paste according to pkg. directions
large elbow macaroni

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger with onion. Follow package directions for spaghetti sauce. Simmer 30 minutes. Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until just tender. Drain. Mix hamburger, sauce and macaroni together and heat through. Serve.

This was always Jeanne's requested meal for her birthday dinner. At the original printing of the cookbook in 1997, it was her son, Ted's favorite food. Jeanne was supposed to contribute this recipe to that edition but Ted informed her that "Grandma makes it better than you, Mom." So Inarose gets the credit!
