1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 can of sliced or crushed pineapple
cherries
1 box yellow cake mix

Melt butter in pan (13 x 9 x 2). Sprinkle 1 cup of brown sugar on top. Drain can of pineapple (save juice). Put slices or crushed pineapple and cherries on top. Set aside. Mix cake mix (use pineapple juice in place of water, you will have to add a little water to the juice to get right amount). Pour on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes. Test with tooth pick, when tooth pick comes out dry it is done. Let stand 5 minutes, turn upside down on platter.

I use the cheap Wal-Mart brand yellow cake mix. It seems to work the best.
