5 pounds of cherries
1.5 lb of sugar
1 bottle of Manastirka, slivovica, or vodka
1 tsp of vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Fill half of a 2.5L bottle with washed cherries. Pour 1 lb of sugar over the cherries. Fill the rest of the bottle with Manastirka, slivovica, or vodka. Cap the bottle and let it sit for at least 1 month in the sun. Drain and set aside. In a pan, carmelize 1/2 lb of sugar and then add 1 tsp of vanilla and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil. Pour the cherry liquid into the sugar water. Cool and pour into bottles.
