1 c shortening
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c sifted flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Blend flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Stir into shortening mixture. Shape dough into 1 in balls. Roll mixture of 2 tbsp sugar and cinnamon. Place 2 in apart on ungreased baking sheet and bake 8-10 minutes.
