Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400F. Stir the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and soy sauce together. Set the ketchup sauce aside. Soak the bread in the milk for 5 minutes. Combine the chopped onion, celery, garlic, parsley, mustard, chopped thyme, eggs, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Add the soaked bread, meat, and 1/3 cup of the ketchup sauce and toss gently with your hands just until the mix will hold its shape. Transfer to a nonstick pan, form into a 16- by 5- inch loaf, and coat with 1/3 cup of the ketchup sauce. Toss the onion rings with 2 tablespoons of ketchup sauce and place them and the thyme sprigs over the meatloaf. Top with the bacon slices and bake for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350F and bake until the internal temperature reaches 160F - about 50 more minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes. Serve with remaining ketchup sauce.

This is surprisingly quick and easy to prepare. Serve with creamy mashed potatoes and a salad to round out the meal. Meatloaf also makes a special meal for company.
