1/3 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. apple butter or thick apple sauce
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cocoa powder, mixed into a little hot water.

Directions:

Mix ingredients into cookie dough. Drop by spoon onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375 until done.
