1 14.5-oz can stewed tomatoes
4 oz reduced fat cream cheese
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
3 cans reduced fat, reduced sodium, condensed tomato soup (undiluted)
4 5.5-oz cans reduced sodium V8 juice
3 tbsp tomato paste
1 c fat-free Half & Half
1/2 tsp dried basil

Directions:
Directions:
In a food processor, combine stewed tomatoes and cream cheese and process until smooth. Set aside. In large saucepan, saute' onion and garlic in butter. Whisk in tomato soup, V8 and tomato paste until blended. Stir in tomato-cream cheese mixture, Half & Half and basil. Cook and stir until heated through. Do not boil.
