1 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1 T. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. sugar
1 egg
1 c. milk
2 T. cooking oil

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in the order listed. Best if cooked in a small black iron skillet. Bake for 20 minutes at 400F. Double the recipe for a large cornbread. Broil for a short time to brown the top.
