Homemade noodles or noodle dumplings: 1 C flour ,1 egg , salt to taste, water to make a thick dough. roll out and let dry after cutting into thin strips about 1/4 in each and as long as you wish.

boil peeled potatoes, cut into 1/4 inch cubes,cook until just soft, be careful not to over boil. add to water salt to taste , diced white onions about 1, powdered milk to make milky soup , and butter , about 1/4 cube.

stir and add noodles and cook until soft.

stir noodles into boiling water that has the potatoes and onions in it. boil until soft being careful not to over boil. may add chunks of diced celery. add salt to taste and butter and powdered milk. Add celery seeds as a tasty garnish.
