1 lb. shell pasta
1 T. vegetable oil
3 cups cooked diced chicken (white meat)
1 bunch chopped fresh spinach
10 green onions, sliced
1 - 6oz. can sliced black olives, drained
1/2 cup sunflower seeds

Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
1 - 16oz. bottle Bernsteins Cheese and Garlic Italian Salad Dressing
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the pasta according to package directions; rinse and drain well; toss with oil in a very large mixing bowl. Add the chicken, spinach, onions, olives, and sunflower seeds and mix well. Combine the dressing ingredients in a separate bowl and mix well with a wire whisk. Pour the dressing mixture over the pasta mixture, toss, and chill for at least 2 hours.

I prefer the small shell pasta for this recipe, but the large shells can be used as well. Use either salted or unsalted sunflower seeds, but don't substitute a different kind of bottled dressing. As you're pouring the dressing over the pasta, it will seem like it's more than you need, but be sure to use it all as the pasta will absorb the dressing as it's chilling. This salad is good made a full day ahead.
