3 cups sweet potatoes, mashed
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup dry sherry
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs, beaten
1/3 cup butter, melted
Topping:
1 cup brown sugar, golden
1/3 cup flour
1 dash cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Mix sweet potato, sugar, salt, sherry, eggs, butter and vanilla.
3. Put mixture in a two quart oven-proof casserole.
4. Mix topping ingredients: brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, butter, vanilla and pecans.
5. Spread topping ingredients over potato mixture and bake 45 minutes.
