1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 - lb can tomatoes
1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 - 4 oz. can diced green chilis
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
12 corn tortillas
1 lb. cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef and onions in skillet, stir in next 4 ingredients. Simmer. Put thin layer of meat in large baking dish. Break up half tortillas for second layer and add half cheese. Repeat layers ending with cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
