1 Sleeve of Saltine crackers
1 stick of butter
1/4 c sugar
12 oz. package choclate chips
1/2 - 3/4 c chopped nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350

Line a cookie sheet with aluminun foil.

Place one sleeve os saltines in row on aluminum lined cookie sheet.
Melt butter and sugar together, do not let it boil.
Pour on top of crackers
Bake at 350 until golden brown, 10-15 minutes.
Remove from oven and pour chocolater chips on top, put back in the oven for about 10 seconds just to melt faster
Spread to cover crackers.
Sprinkle nuts on top.
Refrigerate - break into squares or pieces
