3 c. flour (more or less)
2 pkgs. active yeast
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 c. milk
cornmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the dry ingredients. Heat the liquides until warm. Ade enough of the flour mixture to make a stiff batter. Grease two 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" loaf pans; sprinkle with cornmeal. Spoon batter into pans and cover. Let rise in a warm place. Bake at 400º for 25 mintues. Remove from pan immediately.
