1 c. Shortening
2 c. Sugar
4 Eggs slightly beaten
5-6 Bananas mashed
4c. Flour
2 t. Baking soda
1/2 t. Salt
2 t. Vanilla
1 1/4 c Walnuts chopped (divided)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat shortening, sugar, eggs & bananas. Add dry ingredients, 1 c. nuts and vanilla. Put into 3 greased and floured loaf pans, sprinkle additional finely chopped walnuts on top of each bread.
Bake 1 hr 350 degree oven.
