1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 T. water

1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1 t. almond extract
2 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1 c. flour, 1/2 c. butter and 1T. water as you would a pie crust. Roll into two wide strips on a cookie sheet. Use fingers to press into two thin strips and set aside.
Bring 1 c. water and 1/2 c. butter to a boil.
Remove from heat and add 1 c. flour.
Stir until very smooth.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Mix in almond extract and sugar.
Spread this mixture on top of the pie crust strips.
Bake @ 350
