1 6-oz can sliced mushrooms - drained (save the liquid)
1/2 c green pepper - diced
1/2 c butter or margarine
1/2 c flour
1 tsp salt
pepper to taste
2 c light cream (Half & Half)
1 3/4 c chicken broth
2-3 c chicken - cooked, boned & diced
1 small jar pimentos - chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet, add green peppers and mushrooms and saute' until peppers are soft. Add the flour and stir to make a smooth paste. Add chicken broth and mushroom liquid. Stir and cook until thick. Add the cream and continue stirring over low heat to thicken. Add the salt and pepper to taste. Add chicken and pimentos and heat through. Serve over rice, toast slices, pastry shells or baked potatoes.
