Ingredients: Dressing:
1 pkg. of Good Seasoning Italian dressing
1/4 c. balsamic vinegar
3 T. water
1/2 c. oil
Sweet and Spicy Pecans:
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. warm water
1 c. pecan - halved
3 T. sugar
1 T. chili powder
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
Salad:
1 lb. mixed salad greens
4 oz. blue cheese crumbles
1 pint fresh strawberries - sliced
1 24.5 oz container of mandarin oranges, drained

Directions:Dressing:
Mix vinegar and water and add package of Italian dressing. Add oil and mix well. Directions are also on package of Good Seasoning.
Sweet and spicy pecans:
Dissolve sugar into water. Put pecans in and soak for 10 minutes then drain. Mix; sugar, chili powder and red pepper. Toss pecans in and mix. Bake on parchment paper on a baking sheet at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, stirring once.
Salad:
Toss greens, blue cheese, oranges and berries together. Add dressing and pecan mixture and mix well. |
