1 diced onion (or more, if desired)
3 lbs. ground chuck
3 large cans crushed tomatoes
4 1/2 teasp. salt
3 dashes papricka
three dashes cayenne
9 whole cloves
5 Tblsp. chili powder
3 bay leaves
1 can kidney beans

Directions:
Directions:
Brown onion and beef, Add the rest, except the beans. Simmer 2 hours. Add beans, heat, and remove bay leaves and cloves. (Green pepper is optional and cooked with onion and beef.)
Top with cheddar cheese, or sour cream, or raw onions.
