1 onion, finely chopped
4 cloves of garlic,finely chopped
2 c. ketchup
1 c. water
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c.canola oil
1/4 c. worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
1/3 c. dark brown sugar
1 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp. ground cumin
2 dashes tabasco sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients in a heavy saucepan and bring mixture to boil. Reduce heat to med-lowand simmer until the sauce has thilckened slightly about 10 to 15 min.
Pour sauce through a finemesh strainer into a bowl to remove the onion and garlic. Adjust seasonings to taste Use immediately or store covered in refrigerator for about a week.
