3 oz cream cheese
2 T butter or margerine divided
2 Cups boiled, chopped chicken breasts
1 can fat free prepared crescent rolls
2 T milk
3 green onions, chopped
1/4 tsp salt**
1/8 tsp pepper**
Italian seasoned bread crumbs

Directions:

1.Rolll out crescent rolls on a sprayed cookie sheet keeping two together by pinching the dotted lines together. You will start with a rectangle. Shape this into a square. You should end up with 4 squares.
2 Mix chicken, cream cheese, 1 tsp butter, milk, green onions and seasonings in a bowl.
3. Drop mixture onto the 4 squares. Fold opposite corners of the sqaures together and pinch shut. You can use the remaining butter (metled) to "glue" the squares closed and baste the top. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
4. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes.

I omit the salt and pepper.and try something new each time I make these. I always add ranch dressing powder mix for a creamy taste. I usually choose from other spices like lemon pepper. garlic powder, Italian seasonings or even pesto-whatever mood I am in!
