1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter (softened)
2 eggs
2 bananas (ripe and mashed)
1/2 t. salt
4 T. sour milk (or sweet milk with lemon juice added that has sat for at least 5 min.)
1 t. soda (dissolved in a little hot water)
2 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, and then add mashed bananas. Stir in milk, salt, soda and flour. Then add vanilla and nuts, if desired. Bake for 1 hour at 350. Makes 1 loaf.
