Salad:
½ head iceberg lettuce
½ head romaine lettuce
½ cup chopped celery
2 green onions, chopped
1 11 oz. can mandarin oranges
½ cup sliced almonds
3 tbsp sugar

Dressing:
½ tsp salt
Dash of pepper
¼ cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp parsley
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp vinegar

Mix well. Can make in advance to blend flavors

Cook almonds and sugar until sugar is dissolved and nuts are coated. Set aside to cool. Mix celery, onions, and lettuce that has been shredded or chopped and refrigerate. Just before serving, add almonds and oranges to lettuce. Toss with the dressing.
