1 c butter 2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 c light brown sugar 3 eggs
3 c plain flour 1 tsp soda
1/2 c buttermilk 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp allspice 6 c pecans
1 lb whole candid cherries 6 slices candied
2 c dates chopped pineapple,chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients, set aside
Beat sugars, butter,buttermilk
Add dry, mix good
Add nuts and candied fruit
Drop from spoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 325 15 min

I don't use the prechopped candied fruit because it has a bitter taste to it.
