Ingredients:

2/3 c shortning
1 2/3 c sugar
2 ½ c plain flour
¼ tsp. Salt
2 eggs
2 tsp. Baking Powder
½ tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients, roll into small balls, bake for 10 -13 minutes at 375 º until edges just start to brown.
(Dough can be refrigerated ahead of time)
