1 can medium size crushed pineapple
1 can flake coconut or fresh coconunt
1 box yellow cake mix
1 c broken pecan pieces
1 ½ sticks butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Use large oblong cake pan. Do not grease. The ingreadients are dumped one on top of the other in the pan. DO NOT MIX.

Pour the entire can of pineapple with juice into the pan; place coconut on top of pineapple. Sprinkle with the box of cake mix. Slice butter into small squares and arrange over all. Push the pecans into mix to cover but not to bottom. Bake for 45 minutes until crust is golden brown. Delicious topped with ice cream. (Can substitute cherry pie filling for the pineapple)

This is a "WOW" dessert that takes almost no preperation time. My family has always loved it and it is a quick dessert to take to a pot luck dinner or a cook out.
