1 qt fresh Okra
1/2 cup all-purpose Flour
1/2 cup Corn Meal
1/2 t. Salt
1/8 t. Black Pepper
1 Egg-beaten
1 cup Vegetable Oil

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and drain okra, remove stems and tips, slice into 1/2" slices. Combine flour, corn meal, salt & pepper. Mix well. Stir egg into okra. Dredge okra in flour mixture. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
