8 lg potatoes - peeled and diced
12 strips bacon - crumbled
1 lg onion - diced
8 boiled eggs - peeled and diced

Sauce:
1 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. brown sugar (heaping)
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
1 cup real mayonaise

Directions:
Directions:
Cook diced potatoes, fry bacon in pan and reserve a small amout of bacon grease to make sauce. Mix cooked potatoes, crumbled bacon, diced eggs and onion together. For sauce combine flour, brown sugar, water, vinegar and mayonaise in pan bacon was fried in. Cook until slightly thickened. Pour over potato mixture and mix together. Chill and serve.

Our family loves this potato salad. Grandma clipped this recipe from a newspaper over 80 years ago. We still have the original clipping, yellowed with age. I remember her when I make it.
