!/2 c. oleo
1 c. light brown sugar (packed)
4 eggs
1 tsp nutmeg
2 lb currents or raisins soaked in 1 cup whiskey
1 lb pecans chopped fine
1 lb red and green fruit (sugar pineapples) chopped
3 c. sifted flour
3 tsp soda
3 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves

Cream oleo, gradually beat in sugar, add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each one. Sift flour with soda and spices. Add to mixture a little at the time. Beat after each addition. Add raisins and whiskey, nuts, and fruit. Mix well. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 for 15 minutes.
