1 c butter
1 c. brown sugar (packed)
1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs beaten well
4 level c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. nut meats
2 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt

Combine and form into a log. Refrigerate at least 4 hour, and slice thin. Bake 425º 10 minutes.
