6 medium potatoes (may use sweet potatoes instead)
1/4 cup onion (finely chopped)
6 slices bacon (diced)
1 1/2 T sugar
1/3 cup vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes until tender, peel and cube; season with salt and pepper. Fry bacon until crisp and add to potatoes. Saute onions in the bacon fat until done. Add vinegar and sugar to onion and bacon fat, heating to boiling. Pour over potatoes and mix. Serve while warm.
